I enjoin The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Health and every other stakeholder to lend a clue from WHARC
The Text4Life is an application that allows you call for help when you are in trouble or in danger.
With its unique USSD code, one can follow the prompts and receive quick help in times of gender based violence, sexual violation and a number of other options.
This is a very exciting development. Are you in the FCT or any of the following states; Akwa Ibom, Borno, Enugu, Gombe, Lagos, Kaduna, Kano, Ogun, Sokoto? Good news for you!
You can now register and begin reporting any health or security challenge.
This means that you can access COVID 19 related services, essential Sexual and Reproductive Health information and services including Sexual Gender-Based Violence Services, by dialing its USSD code *347*161# and be linked to the nearest primary health centre.
And what’s more…
Being your brother’s keeper just got better as you can also report for your neighbors or any victim at all.
