The State of African CSOs- 2019 Report is a rare snapshot of the internal workings of African CSOs-from how they are governed and managed to how they are funded, and much more. The report offers some surprises while raising new and interesting questions for further research and analysis.
The EPIC-Africa’s report is based on findings from close to 400 African CSOs from 46 countries who applied for the 2019 African CSO Excellence Awards.
The awards promote, encourage, and highlight organizational excellence and offer incentives for CSOs to share data and open the space for a much-needed conversation about transparency and accountability in the sector.
