
Jeremiah Edogun
Chief Accountant
Jeremiah Edogun (Male). He is presently the Chief Accountant in WHARC. As an Accountant he heads the Accounts Department and writes Financial Reports to the various WHARC donors such as the Ford Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, IDRC, TY Danjuma Foundation, UNFPA, Champion for change etc. Before joining WHARC, he worked as Finance Supervisor and later Audit Supervisor in Edo Transport Service (Edo Line). He rose to the position of a Supervisor after three years of working. He was privileged to travel to almost all the states in Nigeria to oversee its branches for Audit purposes. Seminars and Workshops he has attended include “The role of an Auditor in a company” organized by Edo State Government, The Financial Management Training for NGOs (Ford Foundation, Lagos, The Financial Sustainability Essentials for NGOs (Ford Foundation, Lagos), The use of Global Programming System in accounting (UNFPA, ABUJA). Jeremiah was born in Ewu, Esan Central LGA Edo State. He passed his WAEC with nine credits, and passed with flying colors in his Joint Admissions Matriculations Board (JAMB). Thereafter, he proceeded to Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, where he obtained his degrees in Accounting, National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND). Afterwards, he proceeded on the one-year mandatory service (NYSC) in Kebbi State. He likes reading auditing and finance books, play football and watch English premier League and other leagues. He dislikes pretense and therefore hates pretenders and people that cannot be trusted.
